Complete Wireless Application Suite
The Document Assistant wireless technology suite consists of four main components that work together to
deliver an integrated mobile wireless solution for enterprise data:
 Document Assistant Wireless Client
The device-side component comprised of the deployed XML enabled Document Applications and the Document Assistant runtime environment which handles the wireless comms and software management.
 Document Assistant Enterprise Server
The server-side component provides client (device) access for storage of enterprise data, as well as publishing and integration services for enterprise data repositories (servers) and email services.
 Document Assistant Web Manager
The web-based component provides web interface for access to the server stored documents repository alternative document formats and historical records and logs.
 Document Designer Professional
The developer tools provides rapid development of XML compatible document applications that run on top on the Document Assistant software platform.
New Applications
The Document Assistant mobile application framework enables the rapid development and deployment (weeks, not months) of complete wireless solutions that can integrate with enterprise applications already in place.
Wireless Solution Architecture Overview
The Document Assistant is a fully mobile wireless solution which also works in disconnected mode.
The Document Server provides Enterprise Application Integration support for
